9 Months & Rewinding

This week I took my sweet little Caroline in for her check up...She is growing so quickly and is doing wonderful. Since I never posted from her 6 month appointment...I am going to rewind and do a little catching up. At six months she was still a little wobbly when trying to sit on her own. She was drinking about 28ozs of formula a day. At 6 1/2 months she got her first tooth(bottom left) and by 7 months her second tooth had broke through. She also started sitting up all by herself and brought a smile to her Daddy's face with her first word. Don't you love to hear a baby babble....DaDa..DaDa...then we heard...hey....followed by Mama...None of these words seem to have true meaning but it is still sweet to hear her say them. At 8 months she began reaching for us, giving five, and signing more...She has brought so much joy to our family. Now at 9 months she is drinking about 20ozs of formula a day and likes most foods we have tried. She eats around 5 jars a day. She loves fruit:) We have tried some dairy, but I have been really cautious. So far she has been able to tolerate it in small quantities. We are very thankful that she seems to be growing out of her milk protein intolerance. She isn't crawling yet, but has her own way of getting places...I'm not sure I would call it a scoot. Maybe a scoot with a twist. All this to say I love her and am blessed to have her. Happy 9 months sweet girl!
