School Days

My "baby girl" started K4 last week. The night before her big 1st day, we read a story to get her excited. In the book DW says that preschool is "No BIG Deal". For the most part Hannah Kate has felt this way. Mommy on the other had has held back tears many times at the reality of how fast my little girl is growing up. We started the morning off with getting dressed and then breakfast. She wanted waffles and bacon. I'm sure her teachers loved the sugar high from the syrup. I tried to just put a little:) Then we decided to wear a little chocolate milk on our apple shirt.... No big deal, we were ready for school with an hour to spare, so I quickly washed out the chocolate milk and threw the shirt in the dryer. We made it to school on time wearing our apple shirt:) The first several days Hannah came home quiet (not wanting to talk about school), so this made me a little concerned. (Anyone who knows my Hannah know she is hardly ever short of words) The past couple of days I have picked up my little chatter box:) She is so excited and is getting adjusted to K4. We are praying for a wonderful year and that God would use this experience in growing her in to the young lady He desires for her to be. Thanks to all of you who have been praying for her. We have had lots of transition lately. Hope you enjoy the pictures!

I love her apple shirt! And the bow in her hair. She is just one of the cutest little girls I have ever seen. I am glad she is liking 4K.
