Jeffrey and I love that both of our children took a pacifier early on. Reason 1- they work wonders when traveling...Before leaving for a trip I usually gather up all the paci's we own and put them in a cup/bag so that I have back ups ready when the original falls out of reach:) Reason 2- often calms a fussy baby. Reason 3- It is alot easier to get rid of than a thumb. All that to say much to our surprise...Sweet Caroline has found her fingers, although her daddy tried to keep this from happening. I don't think he really cares and after taking one glimpse of our sweet little angel sleeping (with her fingers in her mouth) who would care:)If she does decide to make this a habit and give her paci up, we like many others will seek advice on how to get your child to quit sucking her thumb (fingers). For now we are thankful that she is sleeping....Don't babies look so peacful and innocent when they sleep. I love to stand by Carolines crib and watch her sleep, while I thank God for this little blessing he gave us. Please pray that she would consistently sleep through the night...she had been for about a week, and then we took a trip. Now she is waking up a couple of times a night. Mommy would love to sleep!
